It's been almost three weeks since my last post, and it has been a glorious three weeks. I finally had an idea for the second movement to my trio, so I busted it out for my last lesson of the school year. Off to numero tres! About 90 percent of the weeks following that was me going out with friends, dinner parties, outings, and camping. I believe this behaviour is a result of two things:
1. School's out for summer. I have had such horrible school burn-out this year, that I had to party myself silly.
2. I'm turning 30 in August, and I have to see how ridiculous I can get before then.
B and I went camping to Fort Ross last weekend. It was freakin' cold in the mornings and night, so I pretty much looked like this the whole time. Although, my hair got greasier and gnarly after a while. B went abalone diving, and we have two in our freezer now. We ate the others while camping, and there ain't nothin' better than eating a fresh catch two hours later.
Last night, I went to a dinner outing and met many designers including the great blogger from Design Sponge, Grace Bonney. She was exactly how I imagined her to be.... cute, petite, and very nice. I was probably the only person who was not a designer at the event, but I'm happy to know people that keep me in check so I don't look like my mother.
